Bear Creek Church maintains a strong and healthy presence in the community believing that our best days are ahead. We continue to see people respond to the gospel. We are baptizing people monthly, adding new members, and see first guests onsite and online. Our weekly reach and online engagement are about 3,500.
This large ministry is driven by a great group of volunteers that love to share the good news of Jesus to kids of all ages. This ministry is running 600+ pre-covid, and still sees a large group of kids in the midst of covid. This Job is in need of a big thinker that is passionate about Kid's Ministry and the future of family connection and discipleship.
Serving the church is more than a job, it’s a calling (2 Timothy 1:8-14). We expect you to be committed to following Jesus (Matthew 10:38-39) with a passion for the gospel that compels you towards a life of service to grow the church.
Your character is the distinct mental and moral qualities evidenced in your life. We expect our staff to be growing spiritually through personal spiritual disciplines/habits like Bible study, prayer, personal evangelism, stewardship/tithing, etc. You should not only seek to do what is right (James 4:17), but also avoid even the appearances of sin or things that cause others to struggle (1 Thessalonians 5:12-24). As a growing Christ-follower, we expect you to be a part of the church participating in worship services and a group (Hebrews 10:24).
We strive for excellence giving our best while always learning and growing (Colossians 1:10).
We strive to create an encouraging environment building one another up in unity (Ephesians 4:1-16). We expect staff to be self-motivated, efficient, and dependable (Colossians 3:23). Confidentiality regarding personnel, staff, and church business is required. A strong and healthy team is everyone’s responsibility.
