Christ Community is a growing gospel-centered church that is focused on reaching their community for Jesus. They have a growing influence in their city led by a strong team. They are looking for an experienced leader to join their team as the Director of Children’s Programs.

The Director of Children’s Programs will be a visionary leader who equips staff and volunteers to lead children from nursery to 6th grade, and their families in a growing relationship with Jesus. Christ Community Church is looking for someone:

  • Has experience leading a large children’s ministry, a large volunteer organization, or similar experience

  • Identifies as a self-starter and is creative-thinker

  • Believes that people are the priority

  • Is excited to reach children for Christ and raise up disciples

  • This is a full-time position that includes leading a weekend children's program with 100+ kids, 75 volunteers, and oversight of 2 part-time staff


  • Model a passion for God and families.

  • Lead the team of volunteers for Nursery to Elementary

  • Provides care and encouragement to team leads and volunteers

  • Oversee leader development and appreciation

  • Develop and implement a clear strategy to disciple children

  • Regularly cast vision to volunteers, parents, and kids


  • Growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ

  • Ability to fully embrace the vision and values of Christ Community Church

  • High level of Emotional Intelligence: Self-Awareness, Motivation, Empathy and Social Skills

Competitive compensation:

Salary, Health/ Dental, 3 weeks vacation/ personal time, 5 day work week

Up to 1 year of housing for the first year
