Christ Fellowship - Central Children's Director

Job description

Christ Fellowship is a diverse and thriving non-denominational multi-site church in South Florida with an aggressive posture toward growth. With thirteen current campuses reaching more than 30,000 people (pre-Covid), they are on track to launch two more, by the end of 2021. They live and breathe the Orange philosophy; helping kids take spiritual steps by mobilizing volunteers and partnering with parents is at the core of everything they do. You will often hear co-senior pastor; Julie Mullins’ talk about her desire to win the race to a child’s heart. Kids ministry is highly valued, championed and resourced at CF and they are excited for a new Core Director of Kids to join their team. They are looking for someone with experience leading at a high level in a multi-site context; someone who will take CFKids ministry to new levels by inspiring and pouring into their leaders and by developing people, systems and processes to scale ministry for continual growth.

Christ Fellowship is led by Pastors Todd & Julie Mullins. The church gathers across multiple regional locations in Palm Beach Gardens,Belle Glade, Boynton Beach, Downtown West Palm Beach, Jupiter, Okeechobee, Port St. Lucie, Riviera Beach, Royal Palm Beach, Stuart, Vero Beach, Boca Raton, Español, and online through Christ Fellowship Everywhere.

Founding pastor and former successful football coach, Dr. Tom Mullins, along with his wife Donna, founded Christ Fellowship in 1984. What began as a small Bible study with 40 people meeting in their living room, has grown to nearly 30,000 people meeting at multiple locations across South Florida. In 2011, Tom and Donna entrusted the leadership of Christ Fellowship to their son Todd and his wife, Julie who are co-senior pastors.

From the smile on people's faces and the warm way that you are greeted when you walk through the doors, it is evident that Christ Fellowship believes that church isn’t just a building that you walk into, but a family you can belong to. Every Sunday people experience exciting, casual, and relaxed services in modern facilities. The church places a high value on excellence. They have a philosophy of, “Come as you are and expect to feel right at home.” They have a modern approach to church with contemporary spirit-led worship followed by practical, and biblically grounded, teaching.

There is an inspiring and clearly articulated vision for volunteering on Christ Fellowship's DREAM TEAM. They work hard to help people discover their purpose and to find the best place for them to use their gifts to serve others both in the church, and in local and global outreach.

Christ Fellowship also provides groups and classes, including Celebrate Recovery and Freedom Groups to help people find community, grow in their relationship with God, and build solid friendships to live out their faith.

They have a passion to help people know God and grow in their relationships so that they can discover their purpose and impact the world. They are well known for their local and global outreach initiatives in addition to their undeniable commitment to equip the next generation to go into the world as influential servant leaders in their careers and their communities.

One of the many ways they do this, in addition to CFKids and CFStudent Ministries, is through their partnership with Southeastern University. They created a college experience that offers affordable undergraduate and masters degree programs in both ministry and the marketplace.

THE MIX, led by CFStudents, for 5th and 6th graders, meets every weekend at six of their campus locations. Their services include worship, teaching, and connection with other students.

CFStudents, meet on Wednesday nights at each campus location for engaging worship, a message, and community.

Christ Fellowship's Core Director of Kids will lead through influence as they collaborate with CFKids staff at every campus in addition to the CFStudents' staff in order to provide excellent weekend services and events as well as seamless transitions from one ministry environment to the next. This role requires a team builder, big picture visionary who can scale ministry to the next level.
