Crossroads Fellowship - Student Pastor
On-site- Raleigh, North Carolina, United States
NextGen
Job description
SNAPSHOT - Crossroads Fellowship has had a reputation for its dynamic and influential youth ministry. The Student Ministry Pastor will provide spiritual, pastoral, and strategic leadership for the Student Ministries at the Millbrook campus for students in both middle school and high school. This person will collaborate with the NextGen ministry team from both campuses to effectively disciples and reach students inside the church and in the community.
Crossroads Fellowship Church is a multisite church with two campuses in the Raleigh, NC, area. Its story began in August 1987, when its founding pastor felt the Lord’s calling to establish a new church—thoroughly biblical but clearly contemporary in style, dedicated to reaching those who do not normally attend church.
Their first service was held in June 1988 as a portable church at Athens Drive High School. God blessed Crossroads with exponential growth and provided them with their own home with the purchase of the Black and Decker Warehouse Building (the current Millbrook Campus facility). It wasn’t very pretty and didn’t look like a church, but it had plenty of space! The first worship service at the Millbrook Campus was held in a cavernous, empty warehouse in December 1996. Over the years, God provided the resources to build ministry space in phases. Thanks to God’s provision and the church family’s generosity, they are blessed with the incredible building they have today.
Many people were traveling from the northern part of Wake County when they launched their first multisite campus at Heritage High School in September 2010.
Along the way, Crossroads has been led by several inspiring and beloved Senior Pastors. Andy George became the Senior Pastor in 2016 after serving on staff as the Youth Pastor at the Millbrook campus and launching the Wake Forest Campus as the Campus Pastor.
