Discovery Church - Family Pastor
With 600+ kids/youth attending Discovery, ministries to kids, students, and families touch a large percentage of the community. The Family Life Pastor oversees the curriculum, budget, and strategies implemented in the ministries under the Family Life umbrella: Children's, Middle School, High School, A growth mindset, the ability to set and achieve goals, and the wisdom to evaluate effectiveness and efficiency are essential to the FLP.
The Family Life Pastor must mentor, train, guide, and cultivate a volunteer culture that lines up with the core values and core identity of Discovery. The FLP advocates for these ministries and those that serve within these ministries to the staff, congregation, and board.
