Shape, cast, and protect the DNA and vision of DOXA worship in conjunction with the lead pastors and elders.
Recruit, lead, and develop the worship team of DOXA.
Plan and implement the flow of the weekly Sunday morning gatherings.
Shape- One of our pillars at Doxa is Unashamed Worship. Shape a culture of worshippers living a life of worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24).
Cast- Champion this vision to the worship ministry, to the staff, and to the church body as a whole.
Protect- A culture of constant feedback, review, and improvement to hold to our Vertical Worship standard.
Recruit- Build a team (vocalists, band, tech team, etc...) of worshippers who will lift high the name of Jesus not just on Sunday mornings but with their lives.
Lead: Pastor the team that God gives you through discipling them to minister and serve out of the overflow of their own love for Jesus.
Develop: Pursue growth in the heart, head (an understanding and passion for worship), and hands (continually striving to get better at whatever skill those in your worship ministry have) of those in your worship ministry.
Plan: Work out the Sunday morning flow for each weekend gathering with the Holy Spirit leading the way through prayer and listening.
Implement: Faithfully execute the flow during the Sunday morning gatherings.
Pastoring/Shepherding: Vigilantly watch your life and doctrine to keep the character qualifications of an overseer as given in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. Make holiness your greatest pursuit. Commit to an Ephesians 4:11-12 philosophy of ministry to be an equipper of others for ministry.
Perform general pastoral duties as needed: Weddings, Funerals, Counseling, Care, Preaching Opportunities
Commit to a team approach to ministry playing an active role in: Long term strategic planning, Vision casting and keeping of the church, The preaching ministry of the church, Service Planning
A desire to pursue creativity through songwriting, storytelling, and other creative means God calls us to.

Estimated 40 hours/week.
Work week is Sunday-Thursday. Monday-Thursday hours generally 8:30-4:45.
Up to 3% of pay retirement matching program available.
Role reports to Lead Pastor of DOXA.
