Fellowship Bible Church is looking for a Children's Pastor that is a Full-time position who oversees all ministry programming for children in Fellowship Kids. This includes staff management, multisite curriculum implementation, volunteer recruitment, and discipleship strategy.
This person will inspire, equip, and lead the preteens involved in this ministry to know Jesus and share this knowledge with their community. Through strong relational skills and spiritually sound leadership, the preteen pastor will collaborate with the pastoral staff and build, encourage, and train a team of volunteers.
Provide leadership and vision for Fellowship Kids multisite initiatives. Align all campuses in vision, curriculum, and programming.
Lead preschool, elementary, and preteen ministry staff in evaluating, editing, and implementing a strong Bible-based, Gospel-centered, Grace-enriched curriculum.
Manage check-in and develop effective methods for following up with new families that register in Fellowship Kids, including guests and newborn parents.
Lead staff in on-going recruitment for volunteer roles in Fellowship Kids. Develop and implement a comprehensive training schedule for all volunteers that equips them to serve.
Oversee and encourage the professional and personal development of Children’s Ministry staff through regular one-on-one meetings, training, and spiritual shepherding
Connect relationally with kids, parents, volunteers, and the body on Sunday mornings by being present in hallways and at Connection Center, when available
Regularly communicate with parents to share details for Fellowship Kids and to promote content for family discipleship
