Job description

The Creative Media Director of House of David (HOD)/Curt Landry Ministries (CLM) must be self-motivated and self-disciplined in areas of time management, budget conscious project management, and cultivating a team to achieve the goals of HOD/CLM set forth by leadership. S/he must also coordinate face to face and remote production meetings with leadership and staff as necessary to prepare for each scheduled project.

In addition to these leadership and managerial skill sets, the following criteria are required to effectively operate in the HOD/CLM Creative Media Director position:

  • Understands the mission and vision of HOD/CLM, bringing added value to the team
  • Is a Vision Caster / Storyteller
  • Can execute initial concept to final product in a timely manner—meeting all
  • scheduled deadlines
  • Is able to present concepts in new ways and from fresh perspectives
  • Excels in post-production skills
  • Coordinates a storyline to coincide marketing plan
  • Understanding of current digital marketing
  • Uses research to develop, implement, and measure effective media
  • Requirements


  • Brings integrity and a positive mental attitude into the workplace
  • Team builder—both in-house with staff and volunteer, as well as with off-campus contracted marketing teams
  • Capable of coordinating vision and goals with off-campus contracted marketing teams
  • Donor-centric, culture-focused is a must
  • Communicates updates well with leadership on a weekly, or as-needed basis
  • Communicates and works well with the HOD Media Broadcast Production /
  • Systems Engineer concerning all needed assets, setting and managing goals and deadlines

  • In addition, the HOD/CLM Media Marketing Director should have working knowledge and the ability to train staff and volunteers in the following:

  • Communications to multiple forms of media including all social media platforms, YouTube, etc.
  • The use of Planning Center, scheduling staff, contractors and volunteers
  • Experience with audio, video, lighting and special effects
