The Bridge is looking for a strong, visionary leader who has the ability to develop leaders, cast vision and develop systems that will promote growth within the Worship team. The current volunteers are excited to head into the next chapter and eager to begin partnering with a new leader.

This leader needs to have a passion for Jesus and the presence of God. The team is eager to follow a leader who is empowering and able to move them into this new season.


It's important for this Worship Pastor to be a strong Worship Leader. Of course, this has a lot to do with musical excellence and proficiency. But also important is the ability to pastor and move a room to engage. This goes beyond the musical into the skill of uniting a room in corporate worship.

The Bridge is excited to enter a vibrant, new season of congregational worship. They are hungry for a leader who knows how to move people beyond songs into an engaging, God-centered worship experience. The congregation is already engaged in vibrant singing and expressive worship. They are ready to press deeper into the presence of God.


Discipleship is a key role of this new leader. It's not enough to be a great worship leader or to prepare music. Within the Worship Department, this role will be about developing leaders and fulfilling the vision of connecting people to God.

The team at The Bridge is unified and ready for change, but there is a strong need to recruit new musicians and develop a worship culture with healthy systems and structure.

Loving people, pastoring people, leading people to operate in their gifting is essential. Doing ministry isn't enough. Empowering others to find their God-given potential is what it's all about. That's why this role is Pastoral - tight execution and productivity is valued, but The Bridge Church needs a spiritual leader that embodies the vision and pastors their team.


This leader must be organized and have the ability to lead themselves and their department. It won't be micro-managed, yet the role will be very collaborative with Pastor Aaron. The Worship Pastor will be trusted to make equipment recommendations & proposals, manage the weekend experience, and lead their team with excellence.


Doing ministry in Linwood (and greater Delaware county) is not one of ease and comfort. It takes grit, determination, and a call from God. Joining this team is joining a passionate, excited group of world-changers who love God and love their city. It's a place with beautiful people but also a place where there is a tremendous need for the Gospel. The surrounding area is low income, and presents some inner city challenges of drugs and violence. This is not an easy place to do ministry, but it's a New Testament opportunity to see the Kingdom of God break out on a daily basis.



The Worship Director will provide point leadership for the entire Worship Department. This includes Worship, Tech, & Production.

  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall leadership to the Worship Ministry
  • Influence the overall worship culture - adults, youth, & kids ministry
  • Lead the design of worship services
  • Facilitate creativity by providing an ideas-oriented environment
  • Lead team at a realistic pace allowing for each other’s personal best
  • Function as primary worship leader for weekend services
  • Shepherd the staff and volunteer teams
  • Communicate with key people with clarity and in a timely manner
  • Deliver expectations of others in the creative process in a timely manner
  • Meet regularly with Lead Pastor and others involved in leadership relevant to worship services and special events
  • Rehearse band and vocals for worship services

  • Other Responsibilities:

  • Work with other key leaders to develop and execute the discipleship vision of The Bridge Church.
  • Recruit volunteers and build multiple teams with the capacity to fulfill the vision and dreams of ministry
  • Develop current musicians to realize their God given potential
  • Develop strategic plans for the department in alignment with the overall church mission, vision, values and strategies
  • Oversee creation and implementation of the Worship budget
  • Be a pastor to the general church family

  • Reports to: Lead Pastor

    Compensation Package:

  • Total compensation negotiable based on experience and education
  • Entire package may be proportioned to accommodate the needs of person (salary, retirement, or health insurance)
