Summary of the Role:
The Film and Media Director has overall responsibility to provide leadership and direction and to assist to produce digital video content. They are hyper-focused on digital impact, creatively connecting with those who don’t know Jesus.

This role will help develop fully engaging weekend presence, both in-house, at Campus locations, and online platforms. This role will also be helping to fully develop and grow various staff and servant leaders teams for film and media.
Creative Leadership: Provide strong leadership and direction for all film and media needs across the church.
Champion the culture and brand of The Crossing church, overseeing the look and feel of the church, both online and in-person.Lead ideations and brainstorms to generate new ideas and concepts and help solve problems.Lead and develop the staff and Servant Leader Film and Media team, creating synergy and alignment with all production disciplines. This includes spiritual leadership as we hold an expectation for staff and servant leaders to not only come technically prepared, but spiritually prepared as well.
Creative Content: Plan and produce current, compelling, and engaging content through the creative team.
Support the creative design and production elements for message series, online services, weekend services, and special events, including graphics, video, etc.Execute production of message bumpers and countdowns utilizer series graphics package.Execute production of announcement bumpers, with creativity and energy that are highly engaging.Identify and produce life-changing stories.Manage projects effectively, meeting timelines, quality expectations, and overall goals. Supervise B-roll capture of auxiliary events and all global events (Baptisms, outreach, camps, etc.) that show the mission of The Crossing. (**Schedule may have to shift as needed to accommodate filming outside listed work week hours)Oversee the inventory of film and media equipment as well as regular maintenance and repair as needed with the budgetary approval. This includes keeping al video software and hardware updated. Collaborate with production staff on shared equipment check out and scheduling.Researching and proposing the purchase of new equipment that advances the ministry of The Crossing.Actively participate in weekly creative planning meetings.Ability to create Motion Graphics for LED wall, social media, song support videos etc.
